Plural Noun:

The plural means more than one. These nouns determine more than one element.

Example:- boys, girls, cities, weeks, teams

We can make a noun plural by adding “s/es/ies” at the end of that naming word.

3.  Branch- Branches

4.  Boss- Bosses

5.  Baby- Babies

Note: -

·       We add “es” at the end of those naming words which ends with “ss, sh, ch, x, o”.

·       We add “ies” at the end of those naming words which ends with “y” but it has a condition.

There is a condition to replace “Y” with “ies” to make that word plural.

Condition: That word must have consonant before “y”.

Boy- Boys (here “o” is not a consonant)

Baby- Babies (here “b” is not a consonant)
