Punctuation marks:-

At the end of sentences, we use a punctuation sign:

(.)- Full stop (period)

(?)- Question

(!)- Exclamatory mark

Subject and predicate:-

Any sentence can be broken down into two main components, the subject of the sentence and the sentence’s predicate.

·         Subject- Doer in a sentence

·         Predicate - Remaining words in the sentence

Predicate gives us more information about subject (doer).

Example: - He was playing football.

Subject- He

Predicate- was playing football.

Find subject and predicate in the following sentences:-

·       She goes to park.

·       The sun was shining brightly.

·       The dogs were barking loudly.
